Citysilk Singles Parties was created to provide a singles "club" where busy, professional people can meet likeminded people in great venues. This is a fun way for members to expand their social network and an excellent way to meet potential partners. The age range is set and the female / male guest ratio is kept as close as possible to a 50 / 50 split. We hope we will become a regular part of your social calendar until you meet that special someone.

Membership with Citysilk is free so you only pay for tickets for the events that you wish to attend. Once you have registered we will send you early details of our events so that you can secure your place and pay the reduced early booking price. All of our events require advance booking, this is so that we can ensure the right number and mix of guests at our events, in particular in relation to the female / male ratio. FAQ's

What To Expect On Arrival
Our hosts will be in place to meet you once you arrive at the venue and will direct you to the cloakroom, bar etc so that you quickly settle in. They will also give you a name badge and tell you about the activities on offer that evening.

Speed Dating
Our speeddating activities allow you to have several mini-dates with members of the opposite sex during the evening. The ladies stay seated and the men move around approximately every three minutes. You will have approximately 10 mini-dates over 30 minutes. Citysilk will provide you with "contact cards" so if there is someone that you would like to meet again, you can exchange details. Speed dating can be a great ice-breaker at our parties as you are guaranteed to meet lots of new people which you can continue talking to later.

Ice Breakers
Our ice-breakers are completely optional but are intended to bring our guests together. The icebreakers arranged for that evening will be explained to you by our hosts at the event.

Contact Cards
We provide lots of blank contact cards for you to give your details to the people that you would like to stay in touch with. These are particularly useful if you don't have your own business cards or don't want to exchange business details at the party. Citysilk does not offer online messaging and we cannot guarantee to be able to contact someone, on your behalf, after the event.

Can I Come On My Own Or Should I Bring Friends?
Many of our guests come to our events on their own and this is why our hosts are on hand to quickly help you get chatting to lots of new people. If you are particularly nervous please let us know when you come into the venue and we will take particular care of you - always remember this is what we are here for! Come on your own or bring your single friends, we promise that you will get chatting to lots of new people either way!

When To Arrive
We suggest that you arrive early so that you can take full advantage of the activities on offer. Speed dating in particular tends to get booked up quite early.

Dress Code
We ask all guests to dress to impress. We appreciate that many of our guests come straight from work, particularly at our weekday parties, so many come in office attire. We ask that you don't wear sportswear, scruffy jeans or scruffy trainers as some of our venues have a strict dress code. If in doubt, please contact the venue direct or call or email us.

Age Range
All of our events have age ranges so that our guests can meet people of a similar age, we ask therefore that you register your age correctly and only book parties that are in your age range. If we feel that you are outside the age limit we may ask for photographic ID. Some of our venues adhere to a strict over 21 policy so please bring photographic ID if you think that you might be asked for proof of age.

We really appreciate it when you book early as this helps us best prepare for the party. Our early booking prices represent this - book one week before the event and secure your place at the discounted price.

Citysilk Singles Parties was launched in 2009 to provide dating services and dating events to intelligent London single professionals to meet other single attractive women and men for fun and romance at singles parties in London. Ice breakers such as speed dating (sometimes spelt as speedating or speeddating) are provided to help guests mingle. Speed-dating gives you several mini-dates with members of the opposite sex. You can exchange details at the party or through the Citysilk administration. Discretion and privacy are assured at our speed dating events.

Our speed dating London events are held for different age groups of single men and single girls in central London in London Wine Bars and London Nightclubs within easy walking distance of public transport. Registering will give you first notification of all of our singles events in London.
